Mark Consolo, Devon Prep Lacrosse Camp

Coach Consolo currently serves as the Associate Athletic Director of Devon Prep, as well as a Physical Education Teacher for the school.

Coach Consolo is entering his 13th season in the Program. He came on board as an assistant coach in 2013-2014, before being named the Head Coach in the fall of 2016. He helped Devon Prep join the Philadelphia Catholic League in 2019. Since 2021, the program has had 27 All-Catholic player award recognitions, 5 consecutive PCL Playoff berths, 5 consecutive District 12 AA Championship appearances- back to back AA Titles (2024-2025), and 5 consecutive PIAA state playoff appearances. In the 2024 season the team went 17-6 overall, capturing the schools first ever District 12 AA Championship, and first ever PIAA playoff win/final 8 tournament appearance. This team finished the year as the #7 overall team in the final PIAA 2A state rankings from phillylacrosse.com.

Coach Consolo was named “Coach of the year” in the Philadelphia Catholic League in 2021 and 2024. He was also named “Coach of the year” by Daily Local News for Chester County, and “Honorable Mention: Coach of the Year” by phillylacrosse.com, in the 2024 season.

Jason Fisher, Devon Prep Basketball Camp

Coach Fisher is currently the head varsity basketball coach at Devon Prep. He has been the head coach for 14 years. During this time Devon Prep basketball has grown into one of the top teams in the state. Devon Prep competes in the prestigious Philadelphia Catholic League.

In 2021-2022, Coach Fisher was named Coach of the Year in the PCL. In 2022 Devon Prep won the PIAA State Championship and Coach Fisher was named the PIAA Coach of the Year. In 2024 and 2025 Devon Prep won the state championships again and Coach Fisher was named PIAA Coach of the year for the second and third times.

Coach Fisher has been involved in coaching for almost 25 years. He is one of the co-founder of PA Hoops Academy as we all as a senior athletic administrator at Devon Prep and has coached other sports such as tennis and soccer. Before coaching, Coach Fisher was a standout player at the University of Scranton earning all regional honors as well as scoring over 1500 points. He was inducted into their Wall of Fame in 2010.

Coach Gavin, Devon Prep Flag Football Camp

Coach Gavin serves as the Head Track & Field Coach at Devon Prep. A former collegiate track and field athlete at Susquehanna University, he brings a high-level training experience and a passion for athlete development to the Devon community.

In addition to leading the track and field program, Coach Gavin is leading the Flag Football Summer Camp. Having played football up through high school, he has always had a strong passion for the game. As someone who enjoyed both sports, the common themes the two always had for him were focus on speed, conditioning and fundamentals.

Coach Gavin holds a masters degree from St. Joseph’s University in secondary ed/mathematics and has a passion for mentoring students and developing them into critical thinkers. Alongside his role as coach and teacher, Coach Gavin serves as Devon Prep’s Director of Mission and Ministry, he has always had a strong passion for ministry and service and loves to share this with his students and community around him.

Coach Green, Devon Prep Soccer Camp

Dr. Jamile Green, Ed.D., is the Head of Soccer at Devon Preparatory School and a highly experienced educator and coach with over a decade of coaching experience and a deep-rooted passion for educational excellence. Having recently earned his Doctorate in Education Leadership and Management from Drexel University, Dr. Green brings this unique combination to the forefront of youth soccer development.

In addition to leading the soccer program at Devon Prep, Dr. Green serves as a club head coach at FC Europa and he has led teams to multiple outdoor, indoor and futsal state championships, appearances in regional finals, and national championships, reinforced by a philosophy that emphasizes skill development, tactical understanding, and physical fitness. He holds advanced coaching certifications, including the FA Wales C License and United Soccer Coaches Advanced National Diplomas.

Dr. Green’s background in mathematics and statistics, along with his experience as a mathematics educator and adjunct faculty member, shapes his structured, data-driven approach to student and athlete development. At summer camp, this translates into thoughtfully designed sessions that balance technical development, tactical understanding, and competitive play in an engaging and supportive environment.

More importantly, Dr. Green is committed to helping young athletes grow both on and off the field. His camp philosophy emphasizes sportsmanship, discipline, teamwork, integrity, and resilience. Each training session is intentionally designed to challenge players, build confidence, and foster a love for the game.

Coach Palumbo, Devon Prep Baseball Camp

Coach Palumbo is entering his second season as head coach at Devon Prep, where he was hired in August of 2024. In his first season with the Tide, the team saw a 4 win improvement from the previous season, including with a playoff win as the 10 seed vs 7 seeded Neumann Goretti. This appointment comes after coaching stops at the Haverford School & Archbishop Carroll high school.
While serving as the programs pitching coach at Haverford, the Fords lowered their team ERA from 5.11 to 3.50 in his first season (‘19) then lowering it again to 3.21 in his 3rd season (‘21) and once more to 3.20 in his 4th season (‘22). In his time at Haverford, he has overseen 12 pitchers commit to play baseball in college, including: East Carolina, Harvard, Pitt, Rider, Dickinson, Rhode Island, Army, Norwich, La Salle and Brandeis University.

Coach Palumbo has also served on the staff of the Inter-Ac’s Carpenter Cup team 3 times, where in 2024 the Inter-Ac won the Carpenter Cup championship vs Tri-Cape.
Before coaching, Coach Palumbo pitched at Archbishop Carroll high school, was redshirted but never actively rostered at the Penn State Brandywine campus & pitched in the Delco League in the Summer of 2024.
